In some ways you are correct.

Logic often finds itself at odds with branches like metaphysics, or even aesthetically speaking, a lot of art isn't "logical".

Of course, being at odds is what makes for good philosophy. That's why I think it's best to say these branches run parellel to each other and they can intersect well, or in error.
